The long pending aspiration of renowned director Om Prakash Rao to make a film with newcomers has finally materialized. That is ‘Katte’ with new producer Umesh Reddy. In the cast Chandan, Ruksar are newcomers. Shravya and Nagashekhar are already familiar faces.

Nagashekhar addressing explained that he plays irresponsible job of boozing, going behind girl and screaming at parents in the night time. We saw the film and besides entertainment we find good contents he feels. As a director I have seen another director film and found it to be a mass film stated Nagashekhar.

How the children are spoiled when they do not agree to decisions of parents is dealt strongly in this film. Om Prakash is confident of reach of this film.

This is dedicated to Shanker Nag. We have been inspired from his Malgudi Days – there is a flavor of it. All incidents are explained in comic touch says Chandan a handsome actor.

It is upgraded Katte says Shravya. She has appreciated her father ability as director. Ruksar using a few Kannada words surprised everyone. She plays counterpart to Chandan in the film. Geetha plays house wife to ‘Undaadigunda’ husband.

I have great support from the team for 48 days shoot informed producer Umesh Reddy.

For using big personality’s names and one hot song the film was given U/A certificate.
